A year ago, I was in my bedroom screaming with excitement because, just a few minutes after we launched, we got fully booked! Looking back, we've learned so much about wedding content creation thanks to the help and generosity of all our clients since day one. Along the way, I've also learned a lot about myself. Juggling a day job and content creation is no easy feat, but thank God for my team and the kindness of all our couples. Here we are, celebrating a year of storytelling where every wedding doesn't even feel like work!

Story time! Got a little busy before the holiday rush so I wasn't personally capturing some of my weddings because... I wrote a movie 🥹. But in true brideslay fashion... it started with a wedding! What better day to post this than today, the birthday of my wedding coordinator, business partner, and dear friend

When I was planning my wedding, I had a rule of not hiring friends as suppliers because I didn’t want friendships to be sacrificed due to bridezilla moments, lol. However, Blink Event Solutions is an exception because I know Arvin will take care of me since he knows me well.

First, he knew I’m always late 😂 so he adjusted the call time based on my behavior and preferences. He was prepared for any delays, and although I only booked his On-The-Day services, he generously helped me even months before my wedding!

Second, he ensured that I enjoyed my wedding. As a last-minute planner, I had many mishaps on the wedding day, but none of them reached me because he was there to solve everything. I forgot to endorse my payments, but he found a way! Despite my wedding venues being far apart, he and his team ensured no one got lost. The only time he reached out to me was when the projector wasn’t working, and I had to decide whether to skip the Same Day Edit (SDE) viewing or not. Even then, he already had my options prepared! I just needed to say either yes or no. I blinked, and the solutions came through—very true to their name!

Arvin made sure I could just enjoy my day, and it was the greatest thing ever.

Now that I am also in the same industry, I appreciate Blink even more. I’ve had couples who had to solve problems on their wedding day because their coordinators did not take care of them. It made me grateful that Blink didn’t only take care of me, but they also ensured I have good memories of my hassle-free wedding.

A wedding only happens once in a lifetime, so it’s best to get the best. So happy we had the best! 🥹 And tho this may be a supplier review, may this also serve as my appreciation post to one of our wedding superheroes—Arvin!
