We started as a freelance wedding planner last 2007 and eventually ventured into kiddie parties on 2008 when the wedding clients has started to have their own families then. By 2010, we ventured into event styling in kids parties and some in wedding and debut events. Through the years, we keep on servicing clients based on their needs and trends. Our goal is to provide services each event at the best way we can from planning up to the last part. We are also open in innovating and going with the latest trends in order to help our clients satisfy their event needs. Today, as part of our giving back to community, we are also doing charitable activities such as holding a feeding program for Aeta kids beneficiaries in Zambales. We held several charitable kiddie parties as well in Manila keeping a portion of proceeds to be donated to them. We are not just an event planning & coordination team, but we also engaged in helping others as part of our advocacy on malnutrition awareness. And honestly, hindi ko gustong sagutin yan ng:

โ€œโ‚ฑ### per person.โ€

Kasi hindi naman lahat ng events pare-pareho.

Ilan ang guests?

Anong klaseng event?

Buffet or plated?

๐ˆ๐›๐š-๐ข๐›๐š ๐๐ž๐ฉ๐ž๐ง๐๐ž ๐ฌ๐š ๐ซ๐ž๐ช๐ฎ๐ข๐ซ๐ž๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ.

Pero here's where I see first-time event organizers sometimes make a mistake:

Nakikita nila yung presyo ng caterer or food provider and immediately think:

โ€œOkay, โ‚ฑX per head ร— number of guests. Yun na yung food budget.โ€

Hmmm.. not quite.

Syempre, you also need to ask:

What's included in the quotation?

May staff ba?

Drinks?

Dessert?

Tableware?

Setup?

Additional charges?

Kasi minsan, yung mukhang โ€œmas muraโ€ sa quotation...

hindi pala mas mura when you look at the whole picture.

So instead of asking:

โ€œMagkano dapat ang budget para sa food?โ€

I prefer asking:

Then the more events I handled, the more I realized...

Hindi pala.

You can have the most beautiful setup in the room...

but if the caterer doesn't know when to serve,

the host doesn't know what's next,

the supplier doesn't know where to go,

the program is running 45 minutes late,

and nobody knows who's supposed to handle the problem...

is this still a beautiful event?

Good luck.

That's when I learned:

Event planning isn't just about making an event look good.

It's about making hundreds of little things happen at the right time, making decisions in the right order, with the right people knowing what they're supposed to do.

At dapat lahat kayo, in sync.

That's why I now look at event planning as:

PLAN โ†’ ORGANIZE โ†’ CONFIRM โ†’ EXECUTE

The styling is only one piece.

The system behind the event is what keeps everything moving.

And as someone who's been involved in event planning and coordination, I also know what's coming next.

The messages:

โ€œPau, pwede pa ba makahabol?โ€

โ€œMay available pa kayang venue?โ€

โ€œPwede pa ba mag-book ng caterer?โ€

โ€œCan you help me plan this?โ€

And sometimes...ganito naman ang mare-receive mo:

โ€œNext month na yung event namin.โ€ ๐Ÿ™

My first thought is always:

โ€œOkay. Let's breathe first. Kaya natin yan.โ€

Because panic doesn't make an event easier to plan.

A system does.

One thing I've learned from doing events is that you don't necessarily need to know everything.

You just need to know:

What needs to happen.

When it needs to happen.

Who needs to do it.

And how much it's going to cost.

That's it.

Once you can see those things clearly, the event becomes much easier to manage.

So if you're planning something this BER months...

please don't wait until the event is around the corner before you start organizing. ๐Ÿ˜ฌ

Akala ko noon, it was all about fancy designs. Hindi pala. It's actually a part of it.

Until I learned how important the ๐๐”๐ƒ๐†๐„๐“ is.

I remember working on an event where there were so many things that needed to be considered.

Venue.

Food.

Styling.

Suppliers.

Program.

Guests.

And of course, the dreaded:

"Magkano na ang nagastos natin?"

Because when you're planning an event, it's very easy to look at one supplier at a time.

"Okay, kaya pa naman."

Then another.

"Okay, kaya pa rin. Sige go lang."

Another one...

"Ay... teka lang." ๐Ÿ˜ญ

And that's when I realized something.

The problem isn't always that your budget is too small.

Sometimes, the problem is that you don't have a system for seeing where the money is going.

Because if you don't know:

How much you've committed,

how much you've already paid,

how much is still due,

and which expenses are actually priorities...

you can have a decent budget and still feel like you're running out of money.

And this is very crucial dahil may ibang hindi nakakapagbayad ng maayos at nasisira ang trust and integrity.

That's why I always tell people:

Don't start your event by asking, "Ano ang gusto kong bilhin or i-book?"

Start by asking:

"๐–๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐š๐ฆ ๐ˆ ๐ญ๐ซ๐ฒ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ญ๐จ ๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ž, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ก๐จ๐ฐ ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐œ๐ก ๐œ๐š๐ง ๐ˆ ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐ž๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ž ๐ข๐ญ?"

There's a big difference.

And honestly, this is one of the things I wish more first-time event organizers understood.

A beautiful event doesn't necessarily start with a big budget.

Before booking any supplier, importante din that we ask:

What's excluded?

How much is the deposit that I need to make?

When is the balance due?

Are there additional charges? (Kasi ito kadalasan nalilimutan. Kapag nag-assume tayo na all-in ang services)

Is there a transportation fee?

Will there be meals included?

What's the setup time?

What's the backup plan?

Suddenly...

โ‚ฑ35K doesn't always mean cheaper.

Sometimes nagco-compare ka from apples to oranges.

And that's one of the reasons event planning can become expensive for first-timers.

You don't know what you don't know.

One of the biggest mistakes clients make is spending weeks choosing between a Unicorn, Superhero, Safari, or Princess theme...

But forgetting to ask:
