The owner graduated BS in Hotel and Restaurant Management at University of Perpetual Help Rizal Las Pinas City (UPHR-2002). He received several awards in table set-up in Chef’s on Parade.
He took up Culinary Arts at the Institute of Hotel and Restaurant Studies (IHRS) now ISCHAM in 2003 headed by Hans Schallenberg. He also took up Traditional and Royal Thai Cuisine at Blue Elephant Cooking School in Bangkok Thailand (2005); He was also coached by Chef Paul Lim of Singapore for Singaporean, Malaysian and Indian Cuisine.
He traveled around the Philippines and Asian countries to learn Filipino and Asian cooking techniques and savored Filipino and Asian dishes.
He started his business by catering food to friends and relatives once or two times a year from 2003 to 2005.
In 2005, Toperio’s Catering Services was registered at the Department of Trade and Industry.
In 2006, an office was opened and formally Toperio’s Catering Services started catering to public and in 2010 Toperio’s Grill was opened.
