Bonne et joyeuse fête de Notre-Dame de Lourdes à tous !

« J’aperçus une dame vêtue de blanc : elle portait une robe blanche, un voile blanc également, une ceinture bleue et une rose jaune sur chaque pied. » Bernadette fait le signe de la croix et récite le chapelet avec la Dame. La prière terminée, la Dame disparaît brusquement.

As this Monday morning begins, we entrust ourselves to God under the loving care of Our Lady.

Wearing the scapular is a quiet reminder that we belong to Mary, who gently leads us closer to her Son. May her protection cover us today, strengthen our faith, and fill this new week with hope and peace.

Our Lady of Mount Carmel, pray for us and guide us in all that lies ahead.

PRAYER FOR DELIVERANCE FROM A TYPHOON
The Archdiocese of Manila released the Prayer for Deliverance from a Typhoon. Let us pray together for the safety of everyone. May it remain in our hearts that with our faith and trust in the Almighty God, He is the one who will save and protect each one of us. We likewise pray to the Lord to “open our eyes, and touch our hearts, that we may respond to each other’s needs.”

From Nov 1-8, you have a special opportunity to gain a plenary indulgence for a soul in purgatory each day by visiting a cemetery and praying for the dead. 🙏

This indulgence is a powerful act of mercy that helps release souls undergoing purification and bring them closer to Heaven.

Here’s what you need to do:
1. Visit a cemetery
2. Pray for the deceased, offering your prayers for the souls in purgatory.

To receive the plenary indulgence, the usual conditions must also be met:
* Be in the state of grace and free from all attachment to sin, even venial sins (make an act of the will for this).
* Receive Holy Communion
* Pray for the intentions of the Holy Father (an Our Father and a Hail Mary are common prayers for this).
* Receive Sacramental Confession (within 20 days)
