thank u sir Topper Capuyan Ballola for the Tag and pics 😊
Carving through the mountains of Madaymen with late afternoon light, we didn't know what to expect. We'd decided to spend the night before the wedding since it was to be an early one. Upon reaching our destination, we were in awe of the spectacular view as the sun was setting down. The night was just as beautiful, captured by our own, Ben, with no light pollution around.
It was our first time shooting in Kibungan which is also probably the coldest (10 degrees early morning). It was also a long time since we've had a wedding not held in a hotel since the lockdown. True, there were a lot of people but most were wearing masks and had alcohol along with them. It was a throwback to how weddings were before the covid hit whenever we had traditional ones outside Baguio. Meat (watwat) was abundant, you could see children playing around with no care in the world and friends and family telling stories while preparing the big day. Everything we experienced was a sense of nostalgia and we were more than happy to be part of it. :)
To note, a lot might wonder about the number of people who were there despite the pandemic. Kibungan has one of the lowest cases in Benguet and most of them were from there or close by. It has been 15 days since the wedding. :)
