Open Style/Genre DANCE COMPETITION MECHANICS

1. The competition is open category.
2. All entries should have a minimum of 3 members, and a maximum of 10 members, who may either be composed of all male and female or a combination of both.
3. The duration of dance should not be less than 3 minutes and not more than 5 minutes. (1 point deduction shall be deducted to every exceeding minute.)
4. NO vulgarity, obscenity, and explicit content are allowed.
5. Each group is allowed to use props and other appropriate materials in their dance except the fire, bottle, or any breakable items.
6. The music to be used must not contain inappropriate, level or any offensive language.
7. Participation in this event indicates the acceptance of such risk by the participants. SK and Barangay Officials assume that all participants are in good health and fit for the competition. The organizers are not responsible for personal injury and property loss.
8. Any violation of the above rules and mechanics of the competition will lead to 1 point deduction from each judges score sheets.
9. The judges’ decision is final and irrevocable.

• DEPORTMENT
(mastery, timing, coordination, & discipline) 30%
• PERFORMANCE
(grace, skills, and difficulty of steps) 20%
• ENTERTAINMENT VALUE
(costume, props & scenery) 10%
