Today at Heroes Square, all the Rizal sites came together for a special performance at Casa Blanca in partnership with St. Pedro Poveda College. The audience—young teenage girls—was remarkably receptive, engaged, and full of enthusiasm. Their energy filled the space and reminded me why this work matters.
What made today even more meaningful was witnessing “the two Rizals” meet—the young and the old—coming alive through performance. It was a powerful moment of storytelling, where history was not just remembered, but felt. As both an actor and an educator, this is the kind of work I would never trade for anything. Bringing history to life through theatre continues to be deeply fulfilling.
My gratitude goes to Easytours and the Intramuros Administration for their continued partnership, and to my dedicated actors and staff who make these experiences possible.
