Grand Master Chiang Nga Ping (鄭 毅 屏) Founded the first Lion Dance last 1950 in the Philippines which is originally from Singapore, the well known Lion Dance Group- Hong Sing Sporting Association was also also brought in the Philippines and started in Ongpin Sta. After his death last 199

0, his Eldest Son Master Pascual Chiang (鄭 文 渠)“The King Drummer”takes over the tradition and started his own Group last 1992 in Severino Reyes Manila and the group was named after his Grand Master. Chiang Nga Ping Athletics and Lion Dance Group performance was first seen in Subic Bay. Robert Ma, the Owner of the well-known “Ma Mun Luk Noodle House.”

Before, all garments was personally made and designed by Master Pascual Chiang together with his three sons. Master Pascual Chiang was also the one who's teaching Choi Lee Fut Kungfu and Lion Dance in Manila, Naga and Cebu. And last 2006 that was the time that Chiang Nga Ping Athletics and Lion Dance Group got its way to have all the garments imported from China up to present. Lions and Dragon that was personally made by Master Pascual Chiang with the Chiang Nga Ping Athletics and Lion Dance Group last 2003 in SM City Calamba Laguna. After 3 years of success, the Chiang Nga Ping Athletics and Lion Dance Group was able to have all of their garments imported from China. The Group also joined the “First King of the Lion Dance Tournament” at the Mall of Asia last September 2011. And all other performances from popular venues, events and opening follows like Umagang kay Ganda in ABS-CBN, Showtime, Unang Hirit of GMA, Moonbay Marina in Subic, Manila Ocean Park, and some in SM City in Calabarzon.

2014, that was the time that the group was formally registered in Security Exchange Commission (SEC) and Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR).
