Some opportunities arrive quietly—disguised as a simple yes.
When Atty. Eden Pusag entrusted Ms. Faye and her team with bringing Sweet Legacy to life, they knew it would be unlike any project they had taken on before.
In just two weeks, the team transformed an idea into reality—carefully crafting every detail from concept development, creative direction, branding, design, and guest experience, all the way to the final ex*****on. Every element was intentionally curated to reflect the heart of her story and the journey that shaped her legacy.
Even the smallest details carried meaning. From the custom sugarcane bookmark, symbolizing her roots and the path that led to her success, to the green satin ribbon thoughtfully styled as sugarcane leaves, every piece was designed with intention. The storytelling extended beyond the pages of the book and into the entire experience through edible centerpiece installations featuring fresh sugarcane, pandesal, bagoong, SkyFlakes, and ripe mangoes—humble Filipino staples that beautifully reflected the author's beginnings, heritage, and values. Guests were also invited to experience one of the most memorable moments of the evening: sipping freshly pressed sugarcane juice, creating a meaningful connection to the fields where her story first took root. Every material, texture, finish, flavor, and presentation was carefully considered because the team believed that every detail should tell the story just as powerfully as the words within the book itself.
Along the way, she shared something that Ms. Faye and her team will always remember:
"Take it as a new avenue that you can take for your career. I saw how you work and I love it. You have a great future not only in weddings. So why limit yourself to weddings if you can do more?"
Those words became a powerful reminder that the skills built through years of dedication are never meant to be confined to one industry. Creativity, strategy, storytelling, and intentional design can create impact wherever they are needed.
Ms. Faye and her team are deeply grateful for the opportunity to embrace this challenge and say yes to an incredible mentor and leader—Atty. Eden Pusag, Regional Director of BNI Western Visayas, CEO of Global International Link - Books Distribution, and Pusag Associates Law Firm.
This project reaffirmed that excellence is found in the details, and that every new challenge is an opportunity to discover another level of what a team is capable of creating.
Here's to embracing new avenues, creating with intention, and never limiting what can be built when passion, purpose, and craftsmanship come together.
