Taklad Banaag Taklad Banaag is an Iloilo-based, local Mountaineering and Hiking organization.

Our mission is to introduce people the joy of mountaineering while contributing meaningfully to the community, environment, and society as a whole.

📢 Upcoming Events Announcements❗

⛰️ IGBARAS DAYHIKE SERIES — HIKE FOR A CAUSE

The trails are calling! Taklad Banaag is back with a full lineup of dayhikes across the mountains of Igbaras this September–October. Every step you take helps support our cause so lace-up and hike with a purpose! 🥾💛

For the coming weeks, we'll be focusing on Animal Welfare.🐈🐕

Your participation and registration will be directly donated to our Beneficiary of the Month: Mardz Ilonggo Aspins and Ilonggo Puspins.

A portion of the proceeds will be used to donate rice, dog food, cleaning supplies and more!

We'll also be feeding our local guide dogs and cats some treats.

Got a special pet companion that's memorable for you in your last hike?

📸 Comment a photo and the first ten people will get a chance to win a P100 discount for one of the events they're interested in.

Hello everyone!

We’ll be posting photos soon of our previous events and sharing our schedules for this Month of September.

This month we’ll be focusing on Animal Welfare as our next goal for our donation drive.

With recent concerns from joiners and organizations, we’ll be tightening our review of joiners to ensure they’re fit to hike and for security purposes our team will be sharing our permits or proof of our previous events for ease of mine.

We're starting off our org with 4 events featuring our first beneficiary of the month Palabasa!

This idea started out as a random thought and now more and more people have started backing and supporting it.
It's finally actualized, and we have 4 beautiful mountains for you to visit and enjoy this month of August with all proceeds donated directly to young learners at Guimbal, Iloilo!

August 15 - Tinagong Dagat
August 16 - Dalije Trilogy
Location: Igbaras, Iloilo
August 22 - Mt. Napulak
August 23 - Mt. Opao
