Nagpahanumdom ang Commission on Elections (Comelec) nga igapatuman na ang istrikto nga liquor ban sa bug-os nga pungsod halin sa May 11 tubtob May 12, 2025.

Bangud sini, nagpaandam ang Comelec sa publiko nga ang pagbayolar sang nasambit nga pagsulundan ang mahimo magresulta sa pagkapriso, pagkakas sang kinamatarong nga magboto, kag permanente nga disqualification sa pag-uyat sang pwesto sa gobyerno.

Suno kay Comelec Region 6 director Atty. Dennis Ausan, nga sakop sang liquor ban ang tanan nga tawo bisan ano pa ang political affiliation sini.

Paathag niya, ini nagakahulugan nga ginadumilian ang pagbaligya, pagbakal, kag pagkunsumo sang makahulubog nga ilimnon sa sulod sang nasambit nga duha ka adlaw bilang pagsunod sa sections 1-6 sang Comelec Resolution 11057.
