BANWA: A Tribute to Iloilo City
A bold Dinagyang-inspired cultural costume that pays homage to her hometown, Iloilo City. Crafted from recycled and indigenous materials, the ensemble features coconut husk fabric, reclaimed wooden beads, and repurposed bottle caps, transformed into intricate tribal-inspired embellishments.
The vibrant red, orange, yellow, and black palette captures the electrifying energy, strength, and warrior spirit of Dinagyang. Every recycled element reflects creativity, sustainability, and Filipino craftsmanship, turning humble materials into a powerful celebration of heritage and hometown pride.
BANWA is more than a costume—it is a tribute to the roots, resilience, and vibrant soul of Iloilo City.
