Her winning answer to the final question captivated both the judges and the audience:
“I believe it’s very important for us to take care of our planet because, before we humans even existed, the world was already here. And for future generations to enjoy and explore the technological progress that we have today, we need to ensure that there is a home for them to look forward to. And as someone who advocates for sustainable fashion, it is something that people don’t take as seriously because they feel like our advocacies need to be big-ticket items; however, that’s not true. Because to start change, we can begin small, with little choices, more mindful ones, that, when done collectively, no matter how small they seem, this is where true change begins.”
