STORY TIME!
So, I went to Manila para ipagdrive sina mama. We stayed at G Square Residences on October 15, 2026. Disclaimer: I am only sharing my experience. This does not mean it's true to all their clients.
We rented the room for 24hrs. A good offer please it's way cheaper than going to a hotel. At first, I was amazed and satisfied because the place is kind of good for its price. The guards were also courteous. On October 15, 2026, at 10:30pm. I went out to catch up with a friend around the area. I went back at around 12:30pm. Lamigin akong tao, so the hoodie that I am wearing when I went out, ay sinuot ko din na natulog na. When I turned on my right, I felt mt coin purse na mejo bulky sa side ko. So, I decided to remove it place it beside me with my powerbank and phone. I was sleeping sa taas ng double-decked bed. and nakatulog na nga.
When I woke up kinabukasan, so I can send off my mom, ate and ading as they go on with their land trip going to GenSan, I immediately got my phone and powerbank. After eating breakfast, hinatid ko na sina mama sa may parking area. After sending them off, I went directly sa room. I didn't go back sa hinigaan ko na sa taas rather, dumiretso ako sa bed na hinigaan ni mama. I planned to sleep until 12noon since 5pm pa naman ang out ko talaga sa room. I didn't bother to order food na since hindi ako gutom and I was planning to eat nalang after ko magcheck out sa GSR. Since hindi ko need ang pera on those times na nasa GSR ako, I didn't remember to get my purse sa bed na hinigaan ko. When I woke up, I packed my things after taking a bath. And AGAIN, since paid na yung room, I didn't think of looking at my purse since, I thought that time that it was in my body bag. I went down and went straight to the frontdesk. I waited for an hour. I actually need to ask pa if okay naba akong umalis because I wanted to visit the Museum nearby.
Nung nasa Museum na ako at need ng ID, hinanap ko yugn purse ko because my purse contains my driver's license, ATM cards and money worth 5k-6k+. And I tried to think where I may have placed it and remembered that I forgot it on my bed. So after my museum visit, I went back sa GSR to report of my lost purse. They tried to accommodate me at first. I tried to explain that it is not possible that Iost it somewhere because I only took my wallet of my hoodie the night, I slept and never had used it on my entire stay until I checked out. They offered to ask the room attendants and linen department to check whether they've seen one. Pero ang sagot, WALA. Upon hearing yung naglinis daw sa room after I checked out na WALA daw siyang nakita, at hindi pa nila sure kung siya nga ba talaga ang naglinis, umuwi na daw kasi end of shift na niya. I was devastated that time because it was supposed to be an enjoyable vacation but no, it became my nightmare. Buti may cash pa ako na na available that time, hindi sana ako nakauwi.
I know it's my responsibility to take extra care of my personal belongings. And sa nanguha ng purse/wallet ko, sana magamit mo siya sa mabuting bagay. Sana nakatulong ito sa iyo. Basta, I stand with my belief na naiwan sa Hotel iyon. Because my brain doesn't fail me this time. And yes, wag na uulit sa GSR. Because we are not sure sa mga taong nagwowork there if all are honest. A big LESSON LEARNED.
Ang hassle lang kasi, nastress kana kasi dika nakauwi agad, tapos kinalunesan kelangan mo pa ulit gumasto para ilakad yung mga nawala mong IDs at ATM cards.
