Giving History a Home: Lady & Enrique’s Decade of Love
"In life, there are no accidents, only grace."
Here at Tickle Tree Studios, we believe that the best love stories aren't just found; they are forged over time. For Lady and Enrique, their Same Day Edit (SDE) isn't just a snapshot of a single day. It is the cinematic celebration of the best ten years of their lives.
A Decade in the Making
Their story is a beautiful reminder that forever often starts with the simplest of gestures. It was early September of 2015 when a mutual friend, a college schoolmate of Ique and a former high school classmate of Lady, played matchmaker. The tip was simple: Lady is a nice person, and she’s perfect for you.
Curiosity led Ique to Facebook, and a single "Hi" started a conversation that never really ended. What began as the thrill of late-night texts quickly turned into early morning phone calls. By October 3rd, they were official. But they didn't just become a couple; they became inseparable.
Over the last decade, we watched (through the stories shared and the vows spoken) how they didn't just fall in love. They grew up together. They navigated the transition from youth to adulthood side-by-side, witnessing each other at their best and holding on through the darkest days. As they faced life's changes, the realization gradually set in: the "I" was slowly becoming "we." They learned the most important lesson of all: love isn't just a feeling, but a choice you make every morning.
Capturing the Grace
Filming their wedding day felt like capturing a victory lap for their relationship. Set against the timeless beauty of San Isidro Labrador Parish and the Bravo Hotel, the visuals reflect a couple who are deeply at home with one another.
We were moved by their vows, which were grounded in reality rather than fairytale tropes. Enrique promised unconditional love, acknowledging their compatibility in strengths and weaknesses. Lady’s vow was equally powerful: "I choose the storm if you are the shore". It was a day filled with the kind of joy that only comes from a history this deep, from the tearful "first looks" with parents to the high-energy celebration where Ique was hoisted into the air by his best friends.
The Anthem: "Mortar & Stone"
To tell a story this specific, we needed a song that truly mirrored their reality. We chose "Mortar & Stone" by T3MS because it perfectly encapsulates their Story. The lyrics trace their path from the "static on the open line" of those first messages to the "hard-earned chapters" of today. It is a powerful reminder that their wedding wasn't a beginning, but a beautiful homecoming for their history.
