How I Do Events Started: My Story (Randolf Agravante)

I never planned on becoming a wedding organizer. It wasn’t something I dreamed of as a kid, nor was it the career path I imagined for myself. But life has a funny way of leading you exactly where you’re meant to be.

It all started with my brother’s wedding. We planned everything ourselves coordinating, DIY-ing decorations, and making sure every detail was just right. We were hands-on with every aspect, and despite the challenges, I found myself enjoying the process.

Not long after, a churchmate was getting married and felt overwhelmed with the planning. She asked for my help, knowing I was organized and good at problem-solving. I said yes, thinking it was just another favor. But that wedding changed everything.

Seeing the bride walk down the aisle, stress-free and glowing, made me realize how much I loved putting everything together. More than that, I saw how much it meant to couples to have someone they could trust to handle the details.

One wedding led to another. Friends started referring me to other couples. Before I knew it, I was organizing weddings regularly. That’s when I decided to make it official I Do Events was born, not just as a business but as a passion.

At first, it was just me learning everything from scratch, building relationships with suppliers, and figuring out the ins and outs of wedding planning. I made mistakes, learned from them, and kept improving. Slowly, the team grew, and so did our reputation. We introduced wedding packages to make planning easier for couples.

But the journey wasn’t always easy. There were moments of doubt, unexpected challenges, and weddings that didn’t go as planned. Yet, every time I saw a couple smiling on their big day, I knew why I was doing this. Every late-night planning session and last-minute adjustment was all worth it.

Looking back, I Do Events has never just been about weddings. It’s about moments, about making sure every couple enjoys their special day without stress. It’s about turning dreams into reality. And for me, it’s about doing something I never expected to love this much.

Today, I Do Events continues to grow, and I couldn’t be more grateful. What started with my brother’s wedding and a simple favor for a churchmate turned into a calling one that allows me to be part of one of the most important days in people’s lives. And I wouldn’t have it any other way.

To my family, friends, team, and the couples who trust us thank you. This journey has been incredible, and I’m excited for what’s ahead. Here’s to more beautiful weddings, unforgettable moments, and making dreams happen together!
