Expectation Vs Reality 😘❤️🥰😍
Behind every elegant lay-out proposal and successful event is a long journey of planning, sacrifices, adjustments, and commitment to excellence.
The proposed lay-out design for the Pinning and Ringhop Ceremony of the Brokenshire Nursing Department was not created overnight. This concept and planning were carefully studied almost a year in advance to ensure that every detail would be executed properly and that the final outcome would serve beyond expectations. Every angle, movement, entrance, stage dimensions, guest flow, decorations, lighting, and overall ambiance were all considered with purpose and vision.
But along the process, unexpected worldwide events happened. The impact of war greatly affected the prices of supplies, materials, flowers, food, transportation, and even manpower demands. Costs suddenly increased after all rates and agreements had already been discussed and finalized with the client. These challenges tested not only the budget but also our creativity, patience, and dedication to deliver quality service.
As a stylist and event planner, I always believe that during the planning stage, balance and proper prioritization are the most important foundations of ex*****on. Budget should always be handled wisely to ensure that the proposed design, detailing, and overall quality will still be achieved without sacrificing the client’s expectations.
One thing I always practice is protecting the quality of the output without bringing additional stress or worries to our dear clients. Asking for sudden increases or removing major inclusions that could affect the overall outcome was never my first option. Instead, I challenged myself and my team to look for alternatives, adjustments, and creative solutions that would still preserve the beauty, elegance, and quality of the design we promised.
Compromising the output because of unexpected changes is never my priority. Rather, these moments motivate me to become more resourceful, more determined, and more passionate in finding ways to make things possible. Because for me, the true essence of event designing is not only about creating beautiful spaces, but also giving clients peace of mind, confidence, and unforgettable moments during one of the most important milestones of their lives.
Special thanks to 'am Lizaflor Basa Cirineo-Magnaye who patiently updated me from time to time regarding the schedule changes and important details of the event. Her constant coordination, trust, and motivation gave me ease and confidence, especially during the moments when the pressure of the event became more intense as the big day came closer. Her positive mindset and encouragement always reminded me that everything would come together perfectly through teamwork and preparation.
To Dean of the Nursing Department, Doc Vimar Conmigo, Doc thank you for valuing my profession and craftsmanship🥰. You made me realize even more that this line of work is not just about decorations and lay-outs, but about creating meaningful experiences and unforgettable memories that become part of an institution’s history and every individual’s journey. Your appreciation and trust inspired me to give my very best in every detail of the project.
And of course, heartfelt gratitude to my idol ma'am Asha Shalunai, ( Head Teach Director ) and to the entire CI Nursing Department team for being very hands-on, supportive, and committed throughout the preparation. Your dedication, professionalism, and shared commitment to your institution and department truly reflected the passion behind this meaningful celebration.
Today, I am truly proud to share that what started as a proposal, vision, and expectation has now become a reality through hard work, teamwork, dedication, and faith. Seeing the outcome appreciated by the clients, guests, faculty, parents, and students is one of the most fulfilling rewards of this journey.
