Khoonney Photography was established in 2011, but my love for photography began long before that. In high school, I carried a simple film camera everywhere—photographing classmates, friends, and relatives, printing their photos, and unknowingly building the foundation of the craft I would later pursue professionally. I was drawn to nature, moments, and emotions, and my meticulous attention to deta
il naturally shaped the style I have today. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Management and experience in the business world, I built Khoonney Photography with sincerity, creativity, and professionalism. Over the years, I developed a heartfelt approach to storytelling and earned recognition in local competitions during my early workshops. I may not be as popular or as expert as others, yet I am always humbled to receive inquiries—even now, while living abroad. Those messages remind me of the impact of the work I once poured my heart into. Along this journey, I learned that photography, much like life, is full of imperfections. Mistakes are normal and should be expected. What matters most is being honest, accepting them, and learning from them. We cannot grow if we refuse to fix what needs improvement. Mistakes do not define your talent; they reveal your professionalism and your commitment to doing better. This is one of the most valuable lessons any photographer can carry throughout their career. My years in the wedding industry also allowed me to explore wedding planning, giving me a deeper understanding of what truly matters behind every celebration. Today, I live abroad with my husband and our baby. My priorities have shifted, and while I miss photographing events in the Philippines, this season of family is precious. I choose to work from home when possible, continuing my passion quietly and faithfully. The form may change, but the love for the craft remains. Khoonney Photography continues as a journey of gratitude, sincerity, resilience, and authentic storytelling—where every image is created with heart, purpose, and honesty.
