DAVAO CITY — Elias P. Dacudao Gumalang School of Home Industries (EPDGSHI) soared to victory during the 2026 Division Search for Best Heroes Park, Phase 3 (Medium Schools Category):

The prestigious awards and Certificates of Validation were presented by SDS Reynante A. Solitario, CESO V, and SEPS (Araling Panlipunan) Mrs. Amelia S. Lacerna. Receiving the honors were EPDGSHI School Head Mr. Hector Sedentario and Cluster 9 Supervisor Mrs. Harriette Buhayo Roseos.

The school’s "Lunduyan ng Kagitingan" (Heroes Park) is a masterpiece of collaboration, fueled by the dedication of the faculty, students, and community partners, with key players - Araling Panlipunan Coordinator Mrs. Rona Erespe Camillon, the TLE/TVE Department, the Alumni Association, and the PTA headed by Mrs. Judith Argoncillo, and under the guidance of the school head and the Cluster 9 Secondary School of Davao City Supervisor. This milestone proves that heroism is found in collective action and a shared heart for student excellence.

The EPDGSHI Rubber Bulldogs proudly stepped onto the field for their first-ever game at DC-University of the Philippines Sports Complex, Mintal, Davao City under the U18 category—and what a moment it was! 💛

Grateful beyond words to our ever-supportive School Head, Sir Hector C. Sedentario, for his unwavering support, and to Brgy. Captain Jennifer Jingle Eding Porgarillas for generously providing transportation for the team.

To our dedicated coaches, Sir Nim Nim M. Calamba and Ma’am Novie Nov Omictin Calamba, Ma'am Rona Erespe Camillon and Jerik Palma Anecito, thank you for training, guiding, and believing in our student-athletes.

DepEd expresses its support for the upcoming National Job Fair organized by the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE).

To facilitate the transition of our Senior High School graduates into the workforce, DOLE will provide a "greenlane" entry for all SHS graduates.

To avail this express lane, graduates must present proof of SHS credentials, such as:
-school ID
-Certificate of Completion
-Certificate of Graduation

The National Job Fair in Davao Region will be held on May 1, 2026 in the following locations:
