Designs and Concepts Events Management’s story...

Started organizing events since 1997 during my fourth year in college. The first event I organized was called Techno Mania Night held at Zirkle with VJ Joey Mead as special guest artist. I stopped with the organizing for awhile and concentrated on my studies. In 2001 I have my first job with DAP Corporation the local distributor of International Distillers Philippines the importer of Jose Cuervo, Johnny Walker, Smirnoff Mule, Smirnoff Vodka, Baileys and more. I worked as their local on-premise accounts executive. So, events like product launching and sponsoring resto-bars with their events was my main emphasis. After a year I decided to resign from the said company and push through with the organizing & finally decided to have it registered & make it a full time business.

In 2002, I deed my first big break handling the CAMEL BAR TOUR event of JTI International company the makers of Camel Cigarette it was a 2 months duration event. I was tasked to hold a weekend bar tour to all class a and b resto-bar located here in Davao City. Then fortunately events from Manila came one after another until the present.

Sometime in 2002 of April the wedding coordination, floral arrangements and styling or decorating came quite naturally. I decided to do it full time because it is my passion and the accomplishment it gives me really sets my life on blaze. That is why I officially registered my business name DEFINING CONCEPTS EVENTS MANAGEMENT and just recently I changed it to DESIGNS & CONCEPTS EVENTS MANAGEMENT.
