An Anesthesiology Resident and an OB-Gyne Resident, Hipol and Chantal spend their days in medicine. Outside the hospital, he’s the fun and funny one; she’s warm and easygoing.

For their dinner, Chantal thought it was just the two of them. Instead, Hipol had secretly reserved the place and arranged for their family and friends to be waiting inside.

When she started getting suspicious, he brought out the blindfold.

He led her inside, she took it off, and suddenly everyone was there.

Then came the question.

She said yes.

And now, the wedding is just around the corner.

Kristian and Antionette have spent the last four years building a life together, becoming first-time parents, figuring things out as they go, and making it a point to experience new places whenever they can.

Their trips have taught them to compromise, meet halfway, and not let the little things get in the way of having a good time.

Then there’s the proposal.

After a long day at their pop-up café, Kristian asked Antionette to stay up with him until midnight for his birthday. She thought it was just a late-night drive, cool Cebu breeze, city lights, and their favorite Lemondou.

He had other plans.

Up in the mountains, overlooking the city, he pulled out a ring. What she didn’t know was that he had been planning it for weeks and had already asked her parents for their blessing.

Five years together, and here they are.

Lars and Kristel were introduced by a mutual friend during their second year in college. They started talking through Facebook and Messenger, and somewhere along the way, those conversations turned into a relationship that has lasted five years.

Then came Kristel’s 25th birthday.

Lars traveled from Cebu to Pagadian City on his own, carrying a ring and keeping the proposal a secret without an accomplice.

Now, after five years together, they’re getting ready for their wedding, and these are a few frames from their time together before the big day.

They’ve built a life together, welcomed their daughter, and when it was time for the proposal, Adam knew exactly what to do.

Sharynne once told him she didn’t care about the ring. Just make sure her nails were clean when he proposed.

So Adam remembered.

No one really expected these two to end up together. Then came one simple “Happy New Year” message.

Bryan and Charlene had known each other for years, first through friends in Samar, then later in law school at USC. But their story didn’t really begin until after graduation, during bar review, when both were feeling a little lost in love.

Bryan sent a “Happy New Year,” Charlene replied, and somehow, they just kept talking.

They were different, their personalities, their energy, their whole vibe. When they started dating, people weren’t exactly expecting them to become a couple. But as they got to know each other, those differences started making perfect sense.

Then came Japan.

By Lake Kawaguchiko, with Mt. Fuji in the background, Charlene thought Bryan was about to film a TikTok. Instead, he got down on one knee.

And just like that, the unexpected love story became a yes.
