She was only in Bangkok for 24 hours. Somehow, that was all they needed.

Marc and Paula met through a friend while Paula was on a short layover in Bangkok.

It was the first day of Songkran, the city was celebrating Thai New Year, the streets were busy, and they had just one day to meet.

So they walked. They talked. They spent the day getting to know each other.

And somewhere between all those conversations, something felt strangely familiar.

Not like meeting someone for the first time.

More like meeting an old friend from another life.

Paula eventually left Bangkok, but the conversation didn’t end there.

They never stopped talking.

And that 24-hour layover?

It turned into a love story that brought them all the way to this day.

Raise your hand if you've ever quietly asked,

"Sto. Niño... mao na ba ni? Siya na ba gyud?"

Claire did.

And it happened in the middle of a Mass.

She still remembers that moment during the Sign of Peace at the Basilica. Tinuod gyud diay ang butterflies in the stomach. She even joked that she saw bright lights and an angel behind Migz. In that moment, she couldn't help but wonder if he was finally the one.

The funny part?

Their story didn't start with romance.

They met in 2010 as classmates at Velez College. Miguel noticed Claire during enrollment, but they simply became barkada. He was the social butterfly; she was the quiet introvert. Medical school took them on different paths, but internship brought them back together, where they argued more than they got along.

Cat vs. dog.

Always debating. Always trying to prove the other wrong.

Years of friendship eventually became the foundation of their relationship.

Turns out, forever was standing beside them all along.

Eight years is a long time.

Long enough to realize they weren't just growing up, they were growing together.

The funny thing is, they didn't meet through some dramatic twist of fate. They grew up in the same school, from nursery until high school. They were simply two people who happened to share the same place for years.

Their first "dates" weren't exactly dates either. Harley's physical therapy sessions became the excuse to spend more time together. Looking back, it's one of those stories that only gets better with time.

Even the proposal stayed true to who they are. During a family trip to Korea, Harley surprised Casey outside a café with an engagement necklace while both of their families quietly watched from inside.

Some couples have one defining moment.

Harley and Casey had years of small ones.

And somehow, those are the stories that last the longest.

Wait... what happened in between?

"Friend lang sa ta."

That's probably not the answer Allen was hoping to hear when he first started talking to Sylai.

From the very beginning, Sylai was honest. She wasn't ready for a relationship because she wanted to focus on her career. Allen respected that. He didn't try to change her mind or rush anything.

But deep inside, he kept telling himself..

"We can be friends for now... but someday, magiging akin ka rin."

Six months later, he was right.

Not because he forced the timing, but because he respected it. He stayed, got to know her better, and let everything unfold naturally.

Today, the girl who once friend-zoned him is the same woman he's about to marry.

Maybe the secret to lasting this long is finding someone who enjoys the same little things you do. For Francis and Ivy, it all started with anime and computer games.

They met during their fourth year of high school, and what began with shared hobbies slowly grew into the relationship they have today.

Francis is now a Computer Engineer, while Ivy is an Architect. Even with busy careers, they're still the same couple who enjoy playing games, trying new restaurants, spending time at beach resorts, and traveling together.

Some things have changed over the years, but the little things that brought them together are still the ones they enjoy the most.

Almost six years ago, Casey and Rhez met while working for rival companies. It all started with a single swipe, and that one moment led them here.
