Officially known as Cebu Red Carpet Catering Services, Inc., Red Carpet has been part of Cebu City's local scene since 1977. The family owned corporation has since established itself as Cebu's premier catering service. One of the biggest and most well known outside catering service in Cebu City and the neighboring cities around the province, Red Carpet has the capacity
to cater up to 5000 heads in one day and host events of up to 15 different locations in one day.
1977 - Red Carpet Restaurant and Steakhouse opened
1980 - Red Carpet Restaurant changed management, bought by the Uy family.
1984 - Red Carpet established its catering arm, officially closing the restaurant's doors
1990s-present - Red Carpet has established itself as Cebu's premier catering service
1996-1999 – Red Carpet tackled the Canteen Concessionaire business, operating NEC Technology’s canteen and feeding up to 2000 persons on a 24 hour shift for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner daily.
2003-2004 – Red Carpet handled the Canteen Concession for the employees of Waterfront Hotel Lahug as well as PAGCOR Lahug. In addition, Red Carpet also managed the employees’ canteen of PAGCOR in Mactan.
2004-2006 – Red Carpet was asked to assume the canteen concession of Philippine Christian Gospel School. During this time, Ahong’s Ngohiong, a sister company, opened and Red Carpet served as its commissary. Also during this period, Red Carpet undertook a joint venture with POD 5 Family KTV (now popularly known as Song Hits KTV) and provided them a system of kitchen operations.
2010-present – Red Carpet handles the kitchen of Red Box Karaoke in Ayala Center Cebu
Currently, Red Carpet Catering has partnered with several establishments around Metro Cebu affiliating itself with restaurants such has Manggahan, located in Lahug, and karaoke establishments like Watever Family KTV, located in Mabolo and Mactan.
