I am very grateful that you chose me to hold and organize your event. I am very sorry that I was unable to come. The truth is, I don't know what to say and how to explain the unexpected thing that happened to me that caused me not to come. There is no strong reason to cover up my shortcomings. That's why I have been very worried and thinking about you because I know that I have been very wrong. I hope you will forgive me but I also want to make you understand my situation in any way. I got up at 10 in the morning. I knew that it was too late to get up because I had an event to attend. I woke up with everything gone. The cellphone I had set off the alarm for was gone, all the things in the house were in disarray and had been ransacked, my wallet, laptop, and other household items were missing, even my jewelry, until I realized that I had been robbed, our house had been broken into while we were sleeping. This is a huge loss and blow that I am going through. I have lost everything and what weighs me down the most is the fact that I have broken and neglected my responsibility to you because of something I did not want to happen. I am really depressed at this time and I do not know what to do. I am so ashamed of you and I do not know how to apologize and make up for the shortcomings that I have made. But if the day comes when I will be given the opportunity to make up for my shortcomings, I hope you will allow me to do so. I apologize so much, I am so ashamed of you, I regret so much. I hope you will understand and forgive me. I want to make up for my shortcomings but I do not know how because of my current situation.
