I’ll be SINGING praises in my heart because I know it’s all God’s grace that I was able to love and be loved and everyone will see...

I’ll be DANCING in the tune of my happy heart because I finally found the man of my prayers, God's guarantee...

I’ll be BLESSED because together with me are the people who will release their blessings - my parents and my pastor/leader, no secrets, no hinding, a relationship that is really free...

And lastly, If I will walk down the aisle...

I’ll be PURE AND WHOLE because Christ, my first and original bridegroom, PRESERVED AND TOOK CARE OF ME, HE LOVED ME FROM THE VERY BEGINNING. And in my lifestory and lovestory - All Glory to Thee!"

A LETTER TO THE BRIDE WHO CANCELLED

I am a bride who cancelled my dream wedding because of this pandemic.

After the announcement of the ECQ (a week before our supposedly big day), I cried for three consecutive days pouring my heart out to God asking Him many times if this is really His will.

I have prayed so dearly for my wedding day, from the very start of our preparations and I have felt His presence whenever I'll have meetings with our chosen wedding suppliers because everything was seemingly, perfectly fit.

I remembered my journey doing wedding preps from booking venue, reception and hotels; choosing that wedding gown; finalizing the guestlist, down to that smallest detail of what nail color I'm having.

My heart was broken.

Even though my fiancé is all ears to me and consoled me on my nearly depressive state; for that week, it is, as if, I felt alone and I really could not find someone who have the same feelings as I have: HOPELESSNESS.

Yes, I felt hopeless, literally, I could not do anything.

The thought of "Am I wrong to have chosen that date?" lingered in me for a week.

There was a feeling of embarrassment inside me, my own mind blamed me.

But after the week of negativity I chose to stay positive.

I started with changing "why God" to "YES GOD".

I finally then believed that everything that happened is His will, to strengthen my faith and to get even more excited of the actual date He have planned for me, for us.

I am actually very excited thinking that God had chosen the date for me to say "YES I DO".

On my end, to the Bride who cancelled, how are you coping, how are you really feeling?

If you feel you are about to cry, go on shed those bucket of tears for days to weeks until you'll feel better.

It's okay to cry, to feel embarrassed and hopeless.

Then when you finally felt that the negativities are out of your system, STAY POSITIVE and BE MORE EXCITED because God has a plan for us, way better that our previous plan.

That day will be as warm as the sunlight, it will be worth the wait, it will be more meaningful, it will be one of our greatest achievements with our husband because we overcome this pandemic together and stronger.

4 Fun Activities to Try with Your Kids 🤗

Getting children excited about prayer can be challenging. Images of people praying typically show someone standing calmly with their head bowed and eyes closed. That’s hard for many people, let alone a kid who’s now stuck at home all day.

But prayer is simply talking with the God who says, “let the children come to me.” God loves to hear the honest cries of your children’s hearts.

Helping your kids talk openly with God now will also impact the way they view prayer in the years to come. So, here are 4 easy prayer activities to help your family pursue God through prayer.

1. COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS
At the end of each day, spend 5-10 minutes talking about a few things that blessed your family. After everyone’s shared, thank God for the good He’s done in your life that day.

Modeling thankfulness for your kids now will help shape the way they remember hard seasons. (Plus, focusing on your blessings can help lower stress levels.)

2. PRAY THROUGH THE WEEK
Each week, pick a theme with your kids. (It could be a country, a person, or something your children love.)

Every day, have a child pray for that theme and allow whoever prays to choose a theme-related activity for you to do together. (Need activity ideas? You can find Bible-based coloring pages and Adventure Books here.)

3. GO ON A NATURE WALK
The next time you go outside, ask your children to point out anything that makes them smile. Take turns thanking God for creating the beauty around you. Try to enjoy the world through their eyes, together.

4. PRAY THROUGH PRAISE SONGS
Everything you do can be an act of worship. Pick one of your children’s favorite worship songs and sing it together. Make that song your prayer for the day.

Or, if you or your children are musical, pick a Psalm or the Lord’s Prayer and put it to music.

When prayer is a daily activity that your children look forward to, you help show them that they can talk to God anywhere, at any time, for any reason.

And, by letting go of any expectations for what their prayers should look like, you make space for your kids to creatively express themselves to God.
