The Story of PARTYSHOTZ PHOTOBOOTH : " Party Like A Big Shots".
My passion for photography began as a quiet rebellion against the unpredictability of life. In 2012, while working as an EMT nurse in Abu Dhabi—a career that taught me to find light in even the darkest moments—I co-founded the Shootercada Photographers Circle with fellow creatives. What started as a hobbyist group quickly grew into a vibrant community, blending technical workshops with storytelling through lenses. Nights spent stabilizing patients transitioned into weekends capturing sunsets over desert dunes, weddings, and cultural festivals. Photography became my anchor, a creative counterbalance to the intensity of emergency healthcare.
When I returned to the Philippines in 2014, I carried this duality of purpose home. With savings and a dream, I launched Rodan’s PARTYSHOTZ & Prints, a small photography and printing studio in Quezon Province. Back then, most local events relied on handheld cameras or smartphone snapshots. I saw an opportunity to reimagine how people experienced milestones—birthdays, weddings, reunions—by blending technology with nostalgia.
In 2015, PARTYSHOTZ PHOTOBOOTH was born, one of the first dedicated photobooth services in the region. The concept was simple yet revolutionary: a portable booth with instant prints, props, and customizable templates that turned fleeting moments into tangible keepsakes. Early challenges—like sourcing durable printers or convincing clients that “photobooths weren’t just for malls”—only fueled my resolve. Word spread quickly. Families laughed over wigs and silly poses; couples tucked away prints as wedding mementos; even local corporations booked us for team-building events.
Over 10 years, PARTYSHOTZ evolved alongside the industry. We embraced DSLR upgrades, social media-friendly digital copies, and themed backdrops—from fiesta vibes to minimalist elegance. But the core mission stayed unchanged: to make photography accessible, fun, and deeply human in an increasingly digital world.
Looking back, it’s the stories that stay with me. The grandmother who cried holding a photobooth print of her reunited family. The shy teenager who discovered their confidence behind a prop mustache. Every click of the shutter is a testament to resilience—both mine as a nurse-turned-entrepreneur and the communities we’ve served.
As PARTYSHOTZ PHOTOBOOTH enters its next decade, we remain committed to innovation without losing the heart of what makes memories timeless. After all, life’s brightest celebrations deserve to be framed.
