February is the shortest month of the year but, there's nothing too momentary to be forgotten.

And although it's still two days prior Valentine's, someone has brought the red aura and hearts all around a little advanced and we are all excited to greet her day as special as her.

Our sense of oneness that keeps us attuned and attached to each other amidst polarizing times is beyond what distance and proximity have instilled upon our consciousness;

Because it is rather our distinctive stories, different histories, and amazing similarities that bind the very meaning of COMMunity.

The mutual ground where we all stand today and the coexistence we are about to portray for the horizons of tomorrow — officially taking its form at present as the COMMunity News Counts section of "CLARION '20-'21: News Stories where our COMMon ground lies."

In partnership with the Central Student Council (CSC), College of Arts and Sciences Student Council (CASSC), Silangan Film Circle (SFC), and Red Stage Events (RSE), the Association of Communication Students (ACTIONS) proudly introduces this inclusive project that is anchored at manifesting the principle of responsible citizenship through the practice of student journalism.

Now, the power of your voice can resonate by sharing the unheard narratives of your respective communities from idiosyncratic developments, inspirational individuals, enkindling editorials — and related accounts deserve of feature, we got you covered!

Starting today, January 18, to May 10, 2021, we are accepting entries to include in our organizational paper. The process of collection, revision, and selection will be headed by the Vice-President for Journalism of ACTIONS, Janna Pineda, and the following communications officers of their respective organizations:

UE Warriors, it is time to fight back. SIGN THE PETITION NOW.

The Central Student Council will not rest until a pro-student response is received from the administration. We seek accountability and demand the University not to follow suit with the government's score of negligence.

If the imposed policies are going to unjustly deprive the students of their right to education, then it is completely unacceptable for the administration to move forward without giving students adequate means to resolve the issue.

Swapping of presents on Christmas, sparking display of lights on New Year, and queued feasts in between – two of the most anticipated times of the year, lingering to muse but is in fact momentary as we are now on the 3rd week of January.

Cloud nine weeks are over instead, swapping of group ideas, sparking display of deadlines, and queued workloads are served on the table. Even so, you made this far and we know you can make it farther.

Protégé, you survived the previous semester by doing your best and – claiming it – again, you can pass-through this second semester by pulling off your greatest!

The Bangon: Donation Drive intended to help the victims of Typhoon Ulysses has finally come to an end. We would like to extend our warmest and sincerest gratitude to our partners, to those who helped us promote and share in any way they can, and for those who donated regardless of the amount. This would not have been possible without the help, generosity and collective effort of each and everyone of you.

The Bangon: Donation Drive intended to help the victims of Typhoon Ulysses has finally come to an end. We would like to extend our warmest and sincerest gratitude to our partners, to those who helped us promote and share in any way they can, and for those who donated regardless of the amount. This would not have been possible without the help, generosity and collective effort of each and everyone of you.

As of 8:00 PM, November 30, 2020, 𝘽𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙤𝙣: 𝘿𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝘿𝙧𝙞𝙫𝙚, in partnership with UE Recognized Student Organizations, Tinig Ng Silangan, Inc., and other organizations outside the University, we have raised a total cash donations amounting to 290,590.44 including the amount collected from the Jam Aid: Concert for A Cause.

Initial relief goods was already distributed last November 14 and 20, 2020 for the families affected by the Typhoon in Rodriguez, Rizal and Cagayan Region. The Central Student Council is also continuously coordinating with the students from University of the East – Caloocan. As of now, we are preparing for the last wave of distribution and repacking.

Again, thank you for being part of our donation drive. May we always be united in helping our community and fellow Filipinos. May people will be touched by this action to help them rise against adversities.
