A harmonious symphony of dedicated committees: 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙜𝙧𝙖𝙢 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙚, 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙚, 𝙁𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙚, 𝙎𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙤𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙚, 𝙏𝙚𝙘𝙝𝙣𝙞𝙘𝙖𝙡 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙚, 𝘾𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙚, 𝙎𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙚, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙐𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙨 𝘾𝙤𝙢𝙢𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙚, each led by their committed heads, assistant heads, and staff that consists wielded students from 𝘏𝘔 4𝘈 𝘢𝘯𝘥 4𝘉, 𝘢𝘴 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘢𝘴 𝘛𝘔 4𝘈 𝘢𝘯𝘥 4𝘉, 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘛𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘮 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘏𝘰𝘴𝘱𝘪𝘵𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘊𝘰𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘨𝘦 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴. Together, they poured their hearts and efforts into orchestrating spectacular events that left a lasting impression.

Gratitude abounds for the guidance, efforts of Dr. Janette Aguilar, Hospitality Management EMC 2023 Adviser. Tourism Management EMC 2023 Adviser, Ms. Joycelyn Camacho. Their eagerness is what inspired the whole EMC to execute successful events. Thank you for being with us from the very beginning, from HM & TM Pre-pageant, DTHIM EXPO 2023, MR. & MS. DTHIM 2023, and DTHIM CONVENTION 2023. A well-executed events that illuminated the pathways to success in the dynamic world of Tourism and Hospitality Industry.

The insightful presentation on Food Sanitation by Mr. Chester Mogol who addressed crucial aspects of ensuring safety and quality in the culinary domain, laying a foundation for excellence. The exploration of First Aid by another esteemed speaker, Ms. Winona Onza who provided invaluable insights into emergency preparedness, a fundamental skill set for professionals in the hospitality field.

Furthermore, at the afternoon session, the comprehensive discourse on the Tourism Industry delved into the intricacies of this dynamic sector, shedding light on emerging trends and opportunities for aspiring individuals that was discussed by Mr. Joselito Las, we are so grateful to have you here.Lastly, the session on the Cruise Industry unveiled a world of possibilities, with speaker Ms. Jacqueline Timola elucidating the nuances and potential career trajectories within this flourishing realm.

Our distinguished speaker, Ms. Jacqueline Timola, is shedding light on the vast world of career opportunities within the cruise industry. Ms. Timola holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from the esteemed Polytechnic University of the Philippines. She embarked upon her professional journey in the Marketing Industry at Magsaysay Center for Hospitality and Culinary Arts (MIHCA) in the year 2012. Over the course of 11 years, her tenure at MIHCA provided her with invaluable insights into the intricacies of the Cruise Industry, affording her opportunities to engage with high-ranking executives from some of the world's most prominent cruise line brands.

As we gather at Bulwagan ng Katipunan, South Caloocan City Hall, the convention remains a hub of enlightenment, where future leaders in tourism and hospitality are charting their course to success. The voyage has just begun, and the possibilities are endless! 🚢

Mr. Las boasts an extensive 27-year tenure in the aviation sector, during which he conducted interviews with thousands of prospective cabin crew members over a span of two decades. Additionally, he serves as the visionary behind "jump2destiny," an organization comprised of airline industry experts dedicated to empowering aspirants to achieve their utmost potential.

𝐃𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐌 𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑 🌐

After the first speaker in our morning session, we also warmly accommodated our second speaker, Ms. Winona G. Onza, Senior Officer III and Supervisor of the South Rescue Team and in her 28 years of service in the industry.

Ms. Winona G. Onza discussed about the deeper significance of first aid and how does it work. Her assistant demonstrated the basics of life-saving measurements like first aid essentials and cardiopulmonary resuscitation or known as cpr and how we can execute it when we encounter an emergency. Being prepared can reduce panic and provide the necessary aid. We hope that everyone was able to take home a lot of knowledge and information regarding this matter. 🤓

Happened during the morning session of the Convention, we warmly welcomed our first speaker, Mr. Chester Mogol. He is the Program Chair of National College of Business and Arts - Fairview, Cubao, and Taytay and also a graduate of Master's Degree of Science in Hospitality Management. Earlier, he tackled about the major and minor issues or problems encountered in the Tourism And Hospitality Industry specifically in Food Sanitation and how we should react or handle it.

Students from the Tourism and Hospitality Department payed attention to the knowledge and insights he has gained that later can be put into practice in their future career by these aspirants! ☝🏻
