HISTORY
The Inner Society of Magic (ISOM) with its slogan "Entertainment beyond imagination" was estbalished on the 18th of August 2008 in Cagayan de Oro City, composed of young men who have the passion of creating, practicing and performing the art of Magic. ISOM is a group united by different magic groups mainly: 4 Aces, Quadro de Jack, CdO Street Magicians, Jokers. As early as 2006, these groups have been jamming, sharing ideas and motivation to help each and every one improve. Every week, these amazing people would meet at The Park Cafe to perform magic on the streets and also to try to fool their fellow magicians with their new effects. Other meeting places are The Rocks, Bo's Velez, Balyahay. On Dec 2007 Jey Square, Mawski, Wael, Jimmy, Tyron founded Inner Society of Magic and were given the titles as Pillars later, and together with Ryan, Eboy, Clyde, Bruce, Harold, Raro, Banjo these magicians are the 12 Founding Members of ISOM (also known as Founders). Jimmy Wong (Jimpaxx) is the first President to be elected and chose August 18, 2008 as the Founding Date, same date as the City's Festival. Mawski Derla was elected as the first Principal Magus.
Inner Society of Magic is one of the longest running Magic Club in the Philippines and now on its 10th year. We norture high quality magicians that can showcase entertainment beyond imagination!
The Logo: •5 Diamond Shaped Plates - signifies for the 5 Pillars: Jimmy, Tyron, Jey, Wael and Maw. •4 Suits - signifies the 4 magic group where founding members are from: CDO Street Magicians (Jimmy, Tyron), 4 Aces (Jey, Clyde, Eboy, Raro), Quadro de Jack (Wael and Maw), Jokers (Ryan). •Sun with 12 Rays - signifies the 12 founding members (Founders). •Circle Emblem - signifies the unity, commitment and love of the art we represent. •Should also be seen on the logo, Inner Society of Magic, ISOM (abbreviation) and the year it was founded.
