Commission on Audit is an autonomous constitutional commission established by the
2005 XU-CSG Constitution that is responsible for auditing and validating all financial
transactions entered into by the XU-CSG, College Councils, Co-curricular
organizations and Extra-Curricular Student Organizations that are under its audit
jurisdiction.

To be a trustworthy, respected, and independent audit commission that promotes
transparent, efficient, and effective management and utilization of student
government resources through responsible accounting and objective auditing for
the benefit of the whole student body.

To help in promoting transparency in the XU โ€“ CSG, Local Government, Co โ€“
Curricular Organizations (including the Crusader Publication) through auditing all
financial transactions in accordance with the generally accepted accounting
principles with integrity, objectivity, timeliness and independence; and to uplift the
spirit of honesty, reliability and efficiency in all levels of the Student Government.

The XU-CSG Commission on Audit officially announces the effectivity of the XU-CSG COA Audit Manual 2026 Edition, effective October 11, 2026.

With the review and endorsement of the concerned officials, the Manual serves as the Commissionโ€™s official reference for audit procedures, post-implementation documentation requirements, and other applicable audit processes. All concerned auditors and student organizations are encouraged to familiarize themselves with its provisions and observe the prescribed requirements.

"Suspension of Audit Activities"

The XU-CSG Commission on Audit announces the suspension of all audit activities from October 5 to October 10, 2026, in observance of the Midterm Examination period.

This suspension is intended to allow the Commissionโ€™s auditors to prioritize their academic responsibilities and focus on their examinations. Audit activities shall resume on October 12, 2026.

The XU-CSG Commission on Audit successfully conducted Onboarding 2026: โ€œSAKAY NA! The Route to Audit Successโ€ on September 30, 2026 at the XUGS Macasandig Auditorium.

The one-day event brought together auditors and treasurers from various councils and organizations for a series of discussions and learning sessions focused on financial governance, auditing practices, and post-implementation requirements.

Through the insights shared by the speakers, participants gained a better understanding of their respective responsibilities and the importance of upholding transparency, accountability, and compliance in organizational operations. The program also provided an opportunity for participants to engage, exchange insights, and strengthen their understanding of the audit process as they prepare for the responsibilities ahead.

As the event came to a close, participants were equipped with valuable knowledge and a renewed commitment to responsible financial stewardship, marking another step toward a more accountable and transparent Xavier Ateneo community.
