5 THINGS I WISH I KNEW BEFORE STARTING A PRINTING BUSINESS 🖨️💙
1. Hindi porke’t may printer ka, printing business na agad.
You need to learn costing, pricing, marketing, customer service, and time management. The printer is just the beginning.
2. NEVER price based on “magkano sa iba.”
Know your actual cost—paper, ink, electricity, materials, labor, machine depreciation, packaging, and your time.
Sales ≠ Profit. 💰
3. Your time has a price.
Rush orders, revisions, layout changes, and endless “pa-edit po” can eat up your profit. Set clear rules and boundaries.
4. You WILL make mistakes. 😅
Wrong size. Wrong spelling. Wrong color. Wasted materials.
It happens. The important thing is to create a system so the same mistake doesn’t happen twice.
5. Consistency beats expensive equipment.
You don’t need every machine on Day 1. Start with what you can handle, improve your skills, reinvest your profit, and grow step by step.
✨ BONUS:
Don’t aim to have the biggest printing shop.
Aim to build a printing business that makes profit, serves customers well, and keeps them coming back.
