To one of our beloved clients who has truly become family—Tita Myrna Ganon—here’s a behind-the-scenes look at how her elegant sage green beaded embroidered gown came to life.
Sage green was the assigned color for the Ninangs at the wedding, and as one of them, Tita Myrna needed a gown that aligned with the theme while still reflecting her personal style. We added delicate details to elevate the design and make it more fitting for a formal wedding celebration.
We begin our process by fitting clients in base gowns—simple, undecorated versions of the final piece. During the first fitting, we do assembling, pinnings, and markups—crucial steps especially for designs that require intricate beadwork. This base fitting allows us to alter the gown precisely before moving on to the hand-tacked embellishments.
