A Moment for the Groom!
Some getting ready moments from Geejan & Dinah’s beautiful wedding.
We often hear grooms are either nervous, not keen on photos, or just aren't that fussed about having any photos of them getting ready, but we love how you see so much more of your story in the final gallery when you have them.
Our job is to take care of the nerves, and direct you so you know exactly what to do, leaving you with timeless portraits that tell the story of your wedding morning.
Here's some advice for grooms for perfect getting ready photos and a stress free wedding morning:
• Have all your details ready to go for your photographer to capture when they get there.
• Don't leave it until the morning of your wedding to learn how to tie a bow/neck tie, or have a pre tied one to save the stress!
• Keep trouser pockets empty and give your phone to a friend.
• Buttonholes / boutonnieres should be pinned on the left, with the flower covering the stitched button hole and the pin not showing.
• Have someone on hand to help you with your jacket / tie etc. and have them be dressed before you for the photos.
• Wear in your wedding shoes before the day and make sure the laces are right etc.
• Wait until your photographer has arrived to open any sentimental gifts from your partner, it always makes such a lovely photo!
