It was really a challenge for me to design a Star Wars cake because of the color theme and the details of the requested characters (Luke and R2D2). I Googled to get some inspirations but I still can't come up with an idea. I initially drew a very simple one tier cake with just stars around, celebrants name in star wars font and just a fondant Luke character as a topper, no R2D2. But two days before the event, my husband (being an artist that he is) said I should be more creative and think outside the box. We exchanged ideas and voila!! He helped me with the details as if he's a pro cake artist. Haha! We love it and we hope you do too.
