Forgetting to take my medicine sometimes reminds me that I still know how to live beyond cancer. 🥹
That there are moments when laughter is louder than fear, and life feels bigger than the worries I carry.

Healing is not just about treatments and medicines.
It’s also about finding joy again, making memories, and allowing yourself to breathe in the middle of the battle.

And for that, I am grateful. 🤍

Hindi porket “herbal” ay automatic na gamot sa cancer. 🌿

Bilang isang cancer patient, naiintindihan ko kung bakit maraming naghahanap ng mas “natural” na paraan para gumaling. Nakakatakot ang chemotherapy, nakakapagod ang proseso, at minsan gusto na lang nating kumapit sa pag-asang may mas madaling paraan.

Pero mahalagang malaman natin ito:

Sa ngayon, wala pang herbal medicine na scientifically proven na kayang gamutin ang breast cancer kapalit ng tamang medical treatment tulad ng surgery, chemotherapy, targeted therapy, radiation, o hormonal therapy.

May mga herbal products na maaaring makatulong sa appetite, relaxation, o side effects pero iba iyon sa tunay na paggamot sa cancer.

Minsan, ang pag-delay ng treatment dahil umaasa sa herbal medicines ay maaaring magbigay ng pagkakataon sa cancer na lumala o kumalat.

Hindi masama ang maghanap ng support para sa katawan natin. Pero mas mahalaga pa rin ang tamang impormasyon, tamang doktor, at treatment na may matibay na ebidensya.

To everyone fighting cancer:
Hindi madali ang journey na ito. Pero choosing evidence-based treatment is not weakness it is giving yourself the best possible chance to heal. 🤍

In this cancer journey, there are days when I feel tired… days when I want to give up. But whenever those thoughts come, I remind myself that I am a mother. And that alone gives me the strength to keep fighting, keep hoping, and keep going.

To all the moms silently battling their own struggles while still showing up with love every single day — Happy Mother’s Day. 💐 You are stronger than you know.

My kids know that I am sick, yes, kahit si Uno. 🥰

Minsan sobrang bigat isipin na pati sila, may dala-dalang ganitong bigat sa murang edad, na hindi lang ako yung lumalaban, kundi kaming lahat, in our own little ways.

Pero sa kabila nun, nagpapasalamat pa rin ako kasi naiintindihan nila.
We all look forward to my healing. Sa araw na mas magaan na lahat. Sa mas maraming gala, tawanan, at simpleng moments na mas ma-a-appreciate namin. Thank You, Lord!
