You woke up carrying quiet worry.
In Psalm 57, David prays from a cave while danger is still outside. He does not pretend the trouble is gone; he asks for mercy and says, “in you I take refuge.”

That matters for mornings when plans feel uncertain, when rain changes the day, or when you are carrying worries for your family before work begins.

God’s refuge is not a promise that nothing will shake us. It is the nearness of the One who keeps us while the storm is still passing.

Tired, but covered.
Unsure, but held.
Pressed, but still praying.

Morning Prayer:
Lord, I come to You with the worries I cannot fully explain.
Cover me and my family while the storm is still passing,
and teach my heart to rest in Your mercy.
Help me move through this day with faith that is honest, steady, and not alone.
Amen.

A father’s love is not always expressed through big words or grand gestures. Often, it is found in the little things he does every day.

It is in the long hours of work, the quiet sacrifices, and the simple questions:

“Have you eaten?”
“Do you have enough money?”
“Did you get home safely?”

Fathers remember small details, too. They take note of your favorite snack and bring it home simply because they know it makes you happy.

They may not always say “I love you,” but their actions often say it for them.

Today, we also honor those who willingly assumed the role of a father: stepfathers, grandfathers, uncles, guardians, mentors, and single parents who carried the responsibilities of both mother and father.

Fatherhood is not defined by blood alone, but by love, presence, guidance, and the choice to keep showing up.

To every father and father figure, your sacrifices may not always be noticed, but they are deeply felt.

Happy Father’s Day.

TROPICAL CYCLONE ADVISORY NR. 2
Tropical Depression
Issued at 11:00 AM, 19 June 2026
Valid for broadcast until the next advisory at 11:00 PM today.

THE TROPICAL DEPRESSION SLIGHTLY ACCELERATES WHILE MOVING WESTWARD OVER THE PHILIPPINE SEA WEST OF GUAM.

➣ Location of Center (10:00 AM)
The center of the Tropical Depression was estimated based on all available data at 1,850 km East of Eastern Visayas (OUTSIDE PAR) (13.1°N, 142.5°E).
➣ Intensity
Maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 70 km/h, and central pressure of 1004 hPa.
➣ Present Movement
Westward at 20 km/h
➣ Extent of Tropical Cyclone Winds
Strong winds extend outwards up to 280 km from the center

GENERAL OUTLOOK FOR THE FORECAST PERIOD
• The tropical depression is forecast to move generally west northwestward and will enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) between tomorrow (20 June) evening and Sunday (21 June) morning. Once inside the PAR, the tropical cyclone will be given the domestic name FRANCISCO. A landfall scenario is less likely at this time.
• This tropical cyclone may intensify into a tropical storm today. As it moves over the warm tropical ocean, it will continue to intensify and may reach typhoon category by Sunday.
• Due to its possible close proximity to land on Tuesday (23 June) and Wednesday (24 June) and the possible changes in the track forecast in the succeeding bulletins, the hoisting of Wind Signal No. 1 over the northern and eastern portions of Northern Luzon is not ruled out.
• The tropical depression is less likely to directly affect the weather and sea conditions in the country in the next 3 days.

Considering these developments, the public and disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned are advised to continue monitoring for updates related to this tropical cyclone.

Unless there is an intermediate issuance, the next tropical cyclone advisory will be issued at 11:00 PM today.
