Following the rescheduling of the Baguio City Half Marathon to 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔, please take note of the following:

𝐏𝐇𝐘𝐒𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐋 𝐑𝐔𝐍

All valid and current race registrations will automatically remain 𝐕𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐃 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐎𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

There is 𝐧𝐨 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐢𝐧.

If you have already claimed your race kit, please keep it and bring it with you on race day.

𝐈𝐌𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐓: 𝐏𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐞𝐱𝐭𝐫𝐚 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐑𝐀𝐂𝐄 𝐁𝐈𝐁. Your race bib contains your RFID timing tag and will be required for the rescheduled race on October 4.

Participants are responsible for keeping their race bibs safe and in good condition. 𝐋𝐨𝐬𝐭, 𝐝𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐝, 𝐨𝐫 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐤𝐞𝐧 𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐛𝐢𝐛𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐑𝐅𝐈𝐃 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐛𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞𝐝.

For participants who are waiting for the Virtual Run guidelines and instructions, we kindly ask for a little more patience.

We are currently working on a process that will make the Virtual Run conversion, reconversion to the physical run, submission of results, and delivery of entitlements as clear and streamlined as possible for everyone.

We are also experiencing prolonged brownouts here in Baguio, which have affected our operations and slowed down our ability to finalize everything as quickly as we would like.

We sincerely apologize for the delay and truly appreciate your patience and understanding. We want to make sure that once we release the guidelines, the process will be complete, clear, and easier for everyone to follow.

We understand that some participants are already in Baguio and may no longer be able to return for the rescheduled Baguio City Half Marathon on October 4, 2026 due to travel, accommodation, work leave, or other prior commitments.

The official Baguio City Half Marathon will remain on October 4, 2026. However, if you personally choose to complete your registered distance independently this weekend, that decision will be entirely at your own discretion and responsibility.

Please note that this will be considered a personal run only and will not be part of the official Baguio City Half Marathon or included in the official race results on October 4.

As this is not an officially organized or supervised activity of TimeTrial Events, participants who choose to proceed do so at their own risk. TimeTrial Events, its organizers, staff, and event personnel will not be responsible for any accident, injury, illness, loss, or other unfortunate incident that may occur during your independent run.

If you choose to run, you may record your full registered distance through Strava and present your activity to our team.

𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐄 𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐄: Running this weekend is NOT mandatory in order to claim your finisher entitlement. Participants covered by this special arrangement may still claim their finisher entitlements even if they choose not to run due to the weather conditions.

Please prioritize your safety. Do not proceed with an independent run if weather or road conditions are unsafe, as roads may be dark, wet, slippery, or affected by heavy rain.

For participants who prefer to convert their October 4 registration to the Virtual Run instead, separate guidelines and the conversion form will be posted on September 1.

We were also informed that city events scheduled from 𝐀𝐮𝐠𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝟐𝟗 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏 will be postponed due to the expected weather conditions.

As much as we wanted the race to push through as scheduled, we cannot responsibly ignore the advice of the proper authorities or place anyone’s safety at risk.

With this, the 𝐁𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐢𝐨 𝐂𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐇𝐚𝐥𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐎𝐂𝐓𝐎𝐁𝐄𝐑 𝟒, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔.

This decision was made with the safety of our participants, volunteers, marshals, staff, spectators, residents of Baguio City, and those traveling to the city in mind.
