MANILA-SIARGAO SEA TRAVEL SETS SAIL STARTING OCTOBER 20
Starting October 20, leading passenger ship and ferry operator 2GO Travel will officially launch its Manila-Siargao sea route, offering travelers a new and scenic way to reach the popular surfing capital of the Philippines. The Saint Francis Xavier vessel, with a capacity of 1,900 passengers, will depart Manila every Monday and arrive in Siargao the following day. Fares start at PHP 2,000 for super mega value accommodation.
โWe have a very big ship and a welcome dance will greet the passengers to showcase the hospitality and warmth of the Filipinos,โ said Francis Chua, 2GO Travelโs Business Unit Head. He added, โItโs like we are on an international cruise ship โ world-class and would give comfort to our sea travelers.โ
Passengers can enjoy a cruise-like experience with amenities such as a salon and spa, dining halls, a cafรฉ, souvenir shops, nightly live band performances, karaoke rooms, an arcade, and a clinic.
2GO Travel is currently focusing on this new route while working closely with the Philippine Ports Authority, Maritime Industry Authority, and the Philippine Coast Guard to explore more potential destinations.
