How much wedding cake do you really need?

After the cake slicing tradition, what happens to the wedding cake? Some couples would order 3 tier cake but doesn't plan what to do with it after the tradition.

So what can you do with a 3 tier cake after the cake tradition? you can actually have waiters serve it to guests. However, from experience, not all guests want a slice of cake especially if:
- They are already full
- They are busy mingling around
- They prefer other desserts

What you can do to avoid wasting cake is:
- you can go with a one tier cake especially if you have a dessert table because not everyone will eat cake, it saves you money as well!
- you can provide a cake box so your guests can take it home with them (just in case you really want a 3 tier cake)

Remember, your wedding cake is:
- Part centerpiece, so it should look beautiful and aesthetic
- Part experience, but not always the main dessert, so plan smart.

Ps: if you decide to have it served after the cake slicing tradition, make sure you informed the catering staffs to bring dessert plates.
