Delighted to announce Engr. Virgilio Cabato Jr. as one of our Moderators in the upcoming the 6th Philippine Roads, Bridges and Tunnels Summit that will be held on August 19 & 20, 2026 at the Ballroom, City of Dreams Manila, Philippines.

A seasoned civil engineer and structural consultant with over 28 years of proven experience in engineering design, and project management. He is currently part of the Project Operations Division of Oriental Consultants Philippines, where he provides executive oversight and strategic leadership in the implementation of large-scale infrastructure projects. Prior to this, he led the company’s Engineering Division, overseeing multidisciplinary design teams and delivering high-profile works, including a railway station project and a pier development.

He is a registered Civil Engineer, an ASEAN Chartered Professional Engineer (ACPE), and a Structural Specialist (StE) accredited by the Philippine Institute of Civil Engineers (PICE). His core expertise lies in structural engineering consultancy, independent technical reviews, and the application of international design and construction codes such as ACI, ASTM, AISC, NSCP, and contract administration under FIDIC standards.

Engr. Cabato has a strong background in:
(1) Structural code compliance and peer review
(2) Value engineering and technical due diligence

Excited to announce Dr. Rodolfo P. Mendoza Jr. as one of our Speakers in the upcoming the 6th Philippine Roads, Bridges and Tunnels Summit that will be held on August 19 & 20, 2026 at the Ballroom, City of Dreams Manila, Philippines.

Dr. Mendoza has more than 16 years of professional experience in the field of structural engineering and consulting. He embarked on his career at renowned global firms (i.e., AECOM and Arup) specializing in structural engineering. Throughout his journey, he has undertaken significant marine projects, such as marine structural design and engineering support of the 1,200-MW Ilijan Natural Gas Plant, seismic evaluation of Tabangao Jetty 2 platform, Iloilo Marine Import Petroleum Terminal, Cebu Marine Import Petroleum Terminal, Luzon International LPG Import Terminal, Subic Shipyard Dry Dock, Tsuneshi Heavy Industries Slipway 2, CamSur Wind Port Jetty, seismic evaluation of Manila South Harbor piers, and design of 1.5 km seismically isolated viaduct in the Philippines.
Currently, Dr. Mendoza serves as the President of the Association of Structural Engineers of the Philippines, where he also holds several chairmanships, including the Ports and Harbors Committee. He is a faculty at the Department of Civil Engineering of De La Salle University where he handles graduate course in Ports and Harbors, and Bridge Design.Internationally, Dr. Mendoza is the first Filipino member of the Mass Concrete Committee of the Japan Concrete Institute and the Committee for Seismic Resilience Design of Concrete Structures of the International Association for Bridge and Structural Engineering (IABSE). He is also a member of Concrete in Marine Environment committee of FIB.

Glad to announce Mr. Clement Ho as one of our Panelists in the upcoming the 6th Philippine Roads, Bridges and Tunnels Summit that will be held on August 19 & 20, 2026 at the Ballroom, City of Dreams Manila, Philippines.

Clement Ho is Arup’s Southeast Asia Transport Planning Leader, with over 27 years of experience in transport planning. He has worked across Arup offices in the UK, Ireland, Hong Kong, and Mainland China, leading a diverse international portfolio. He has also led projects in Macau, the Philippines, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Australia, India, Bhutan, Portugal, and Jamaica.
Clement holds a Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering and a Master of Science in Transportation (DIC) and has completed the Executive Master Module in Urban Resilience Systems at MIT. He is a Council Member and Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), and a member of the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation (CIHT).
He also contributes to academia as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Hong Kong, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and City University of Hong Kong.
