After 16 years, I still think this is the best job in the world.

Yesterday was one of those days when I felt completely drained.

I was preparing for Franchise Pinas while also coordinating Kenneth and Lizette's wedding.

By evening, my lower Tita back was hurting😅
I had barely slept, and I was running mostly on coffee and commitment.

Then I arrived at the reception and something changed.

I saw three couples whose weddings I had coordinated years ago.

Then I saw Primo.

I was there for his baptism and his first birthday.
Now he's already four years old.

That's when I was reminded why I still enjoy doing this after all these years.

We're not just coordinating events.
We become part of people's stories.

We witness one of the most important days of their lives.

Then years later, we see them again.

As parents celebrating another milestone.
Living the life they started building on the day we first met them.

The flowers eventually fade. The program ends.
The venue gets cleared.

But the relationships remain.

And after 16 years, that's still my favorite part of the job.

It’s been a busy few months managing events.

But I always find myself going back to the ones I’ve handled before, thinking about the people I’ve met and the friendships that stayed.

In many ways, those moments remind me why I started.

This was my first wedding at Green Canyon.

The couple was easy to work with.
Light, fun, and genuine. And moments like that can make the work feel effortless.

Parang hindi ako nagta-trabaho.

But even in that kind of environment, professionalism matters. Because no matter how comfortable things feel, the responsibility remains the same.

So I stayed grounded in the work.
Always present, structured, and intentional.

Years later, I saw them again at a corporate event. And I was reminded of something I carry with me until today.

This work is never just transactional.
Because when you handle things properly,
the connection stays. It grows.

It even gets passed on, just like when the bride trusted me again for her sister’s wedding.

The second time matters more than the first, because it’s no longer just about trying, it’s about choosing to do it again.

This was my second debut. This time, it's not for family but for a client who trusted me.

I was still figuring things out. Even how to properly charge for my services 😅

I remember that I wasn’t focused on profit. I just wanted to build something real.

The concept was a concert theme and at a time when LED walls were expensive.

It could have easily gone beyond budget but we worked with what we had.

Instead of going for costly setups, the debutant recorded a CD,
and that became part of the experience. Not to mention it was simple, creative and cost efficient.

Everyone on the team was paid. Including me.😁

And more than that, the experience itself was worth more than anything else. Because in every first, there’s a second.

And this was my confirmation that this is something I would keep doing.

That’s how I’ve grown in this industry.
By showing up again, and doing the work properly each time.

This was my first 18th Birthday event.
It's for my pamangkin.

At that time, my company didn’t even have a name yet. 😁

There were no systems, no established process.
Just the responsibility to make it work.

It could have gone either way. But instead of trying to have everything figured out,
I allowed myself to be taught by the work.

I paid attention, then I adjusted.
I learned as I moved forward.

This mindset stayed with me.
Because in this industry, learning doesn’t stop.

What I bring isn’t just coordination.
