It's the last day of the 2025 Annual Art Exhibition hosted by the National Cultural Commission. We close at 4pm.

Bring your kids along to interact with our visual artists, paint on the mural and learn about PNG's Creative Industry and how it has also contributed to the development of our nation through creating awareness and and also in raising funds during times of disaster.

Tua Kari is from Ihu in Gulf Province and is one of the three female artists who are part of the 2025 National Art Exhibition currently underway in Port Moresby.

She has been painting since 2003 and has been involved in the informal training of other younger visual artists.

Her piece that is part of the exhibition is titled, The Fish Charmer. It is based on a local traditional story from Ihu.

We also have the 2025 Annual Art Exhibition by the National Cultural Commission at the Sir John Guise Stadium. It's safe, a child friendly environment too and an opportunity to meet Papua New Guinean artists.

The 2025 National Art Exhibition is currently underway at the Sir John Guise indoor stadium. It opens from 9am to 4pm. The 2025 National Art Exhibition ends on the 20th of September.

There are currently 150 pieces of paintings and sculptures on display.

This painting, titled Four Regions is one of the two paintings by Winnie Weoa, an artist whose work is part of the 2025 Annual Art Exhibition at the Sir John Guise Stadium.

This painting has been a favourite with young visitors since Saturday.
