We are deeply saddened to hear of the recent passing of the late Mrs.Pamela.Swanson, one of the founders and owners of Napatana Lodge in Alotau.

Her infectious laughter, warmth, creativity and enthusiasm for Milne Bay's tourism industry and all those whom she worked with and drew to Napatana, will always be remembered.

She inspired many of us in this industry and we are truly blessed and grateful to have met and known her.

Our sincere condolences to the Swanson family.❤🙏

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of one of Napatana Lodges' founders and owners.
Pamela Swanson was larger than life, and was much loved by all who met her. She created the wonderful tapestry that is Napatana today, Original, Unique and Authentic in every sense.
To Peter, Samantha,Susan and the grandkids, we thank you for sharing your wife, mother and grandmother with us. Please know that we are thinking of you. Pam will always be in our hearts and memories and her passingwill leave a large hole in our Napatana family.

A special message for our P & O visitors from Australia, from our local models, designers and entertainers who staged their first ever Sarong Fashion Show at the "Lik Lik PNG Festival" event recently.

The festival is specifically created for cruise visitors, to provide them with a glimpse of the many unique and diverse traditional and contemporary cultures of Papua New Guinea.

This event also acts as a creative and economic platform for many of our local artisans, youths and communities to provide them with the rare opportunity to connect with and to expose their craft and their skills directly to international audiences.
