Lexis thought they were going for a llama walk, but Andrew knew something much bigger was waiting just ahead.

Created during their trip of a lifetime to Peru, this bespoke surprise proposal experience began in the highlands of the Sacred Valley with a relaxed walk among alpacas and baby alpacas beneath dramatic Andean skies.

What Lexis didn’t know was that hidden just around the corner was a floral proposal setup overlooking one of the most breathtaking panoramic views in Peru.

Designed around the couple’s love of travel, adventure and meaningful experiences, every detail of this proposal was carefully planned to feel effortless, personal and unforgettable.

Against the backdrop of the majestic Andes Mountains and endless Sacred Valley scenery, Andrew proposed beneath changing skies and warm mountain light creating a moment they will remember forever.

After the proposal, we slowed things down and spent time exploring the landscape together, creating a relaxed editorial-style engagement shoot with sweeping mountain views, vintage cars and soft evening light that gave the whole experience a nostalgic cinematic feel.

This is one of the things I love most about creating proposals in Peru.

This elopement in Cusco was built around one idea: creating a trip that felt like an adventure, not a wedding day.

Over two days the couple travelled through the Sacred Valley experiencing some of the moments that make this region unforgettable.

We started high in the mountains where they escaped into a beautiful lodge surrounded by antiques, vintage textiles and the warmth of Andean hospitality. There was hot cacao by the fire, quiet time together and the kind of atmosphere that makes you slow down and actually enjoy where you are.

From there we headed down to Ollantaytambo for something completely different.

At the iconic train station, we created a fun editorial-style photoshoot with the PeruRail trains rolling through the background. The station has this incredible energy. People arriving, people leaving, excitement in the air and that feeling that everyone around you is heading off on an adventure toward Machu Picchu.

Afterwards, we slowed things down again with cocktails and relaxed moments at the historic station bar inside El Albergue.

Day two took us back into the mountains, this time to Maras.

The couple explored on horseback across the plains with endless Andean views stretching in every direction before finishing the day with a mountain-top hot tub, Champagne, and a few very enthusiastic llamas.

This wasn’t designed as a wedding day with activities added in.

It was designed as a complete experience. A trip that reflected the couple, their love of travel, and the way they wanted to begin married life together.

Albert planned a private proposal in Peru’s Sacred Valley surrounded by golden fields, vast Andean mountain views, and dramatic blue skies.

As the sun dropped behind the Andes, their joy filled the air as she said yes.
