I had the honor of holding space for and a circle of extraordinary women during Kallpa Warmi — a remembrance of the strength that lives within us.

This year, I witnessed women meet themselves with courage, softness, and truth.
Women willing to walk through the unseen, to listen to the wisdom of their bodies, and to reclaim their inner fire.

2025 reshaped my own feminine — refining it, grounding it, and making it bolder.
That embodiment became the medicine that moved through this retreat, creating ripples far beyond the moment.

What was opened here continues to breathe, expand, and echo.

My name is Rafaela Fernández Goodman, and I would love to (re)introduce myself — for those arriving here for the first time, and for the ones who have been walking beside me on this path of beauty, nourishment, and transformation.
I am a chef, visionary host, and creative alchemist - a woman who cooks with intuition, prayer, and deep devotion to Pachamama. For me, food is medicine: a living expression of love that nourishes body, heart, and spirit.
With more than 20 years of experience in the kitchen and as a mother of three beautiful daughters, I've learned that creation - whether a meal, a home, or a life — is an act of love and presence. Each dish, each retreat, each moment shared is a thread in the great tapestry of connection that guides my work.
I am the founder and soul behind Nidra Wasi, a sacred space in the heart of the Sacred Valley of the Andes. For over thirteen years, l've been weaving transformational retreats that unite culinary artistry, ancestral wisdom, and soulful hospitality — spaces where we gather to remember who we are and to honor the beauty of life. Every experience here is a ceremony — crafted with care, reverence, and intention. From the warmth of the kitchen to the silence of the mountains, I pour my heart into creating spaces that feel like home, where we can soften, open, and return to ourselves.
My greatest inspiration comes from the Earth, from sisterhood and community, and from the endless wisdom of motherhood. Érase una vez en el Valle Sagrado de Cusco ❤️
Entre montañas que susurran secretos ancestrales y ríos que cantan melodías de sanación, vivía Rafaela, una guardiana de sueños y sabores. Con sus tres hijas como cómplices de magia, tejía hogar en Pisac: un refugio llamado Nidra Wasi, donde la tierra y el cielo se encontraban en cada plato 🌱
Su varita no era de cristal, sino de hierbas frescas y manos amorosas. Con ellas, transformaba frutos de la Pachamama en banquetes de colores: vegetales danzantes, especias que contaban historias y postres que abrazaban el alma. Cada bocado era un hechizo: nutritivo, bello y lleno de luz, como puente entre corazones del mundo.
Los viajeros llegaban buscando descanso… y partían renaciendo. En su mesa, no solo se alimentaban cuerpos, sino espíritus. Bajo estrellas de los Andes, Rafaela tejía ceremonias con aromas de cúrcuma, risas de niñas libres y fogones que encendían visiones. Aquí, la comida no era solo sustento, sino lenguaje de amor y transformación.
¿Su secreto? Creer que cada semilla, cada encuentro, guardaba una promesa. Por eso, durante una década, hiló retiros como telares sagrados: logística perfecta, hospitalidad que abriga y momentos que germinaban en milagros cotidianos.
