Every customer order is undertaken in a fully Southland District Council registered and verified home based kitchen and under the highest of food health and safety protocols. I create from scratch be it a cake, catering for events and or special occasions, Holiday Celebration Treat Boxes, patisserie items and desserts or a wee special treat to fill the tins no order is too big nor too small and all are given my full attention to detail and finishing for presentation and enjoyment with family and friends.

Out the door today our signature 3 stack chocolate cake with 2 fillings....our berry compote and a white chocolate ganache oreo buttercream.....

finished with raspberry pink white chocolate ganache buttercream and all things "Candy Cane"...along with our signature range pink filled with raspberry white chocolate ganache buttercream and edible sprinkles and edible glitter.....

BAKING ORDER SLOTS: We are now fully booked from the 8th to the 20th of April 2026

CUSTOM CAKE ORDER SLOTS: FULLY BOOKED OUT FOR APRIL.... LIMITED ORDER SLOTS FOR - MAY THROUGH TILL SEPTEMBER 2026. Due to the volume of orders we do suggest that you book at least a month in advance - thank you

CATERING ORDER SLOTS: We have limited order slots available for the rest of April through till the end of July 2026

We have some very exciting new creations for the long winter months and we will be bringing back some much loved patisserie desserts and savory treats so keep an eye on our posts!!

‘The blessings of baking that Nana used to make....’

recapturing the memories of old and making new ones through the joys of home baking......For as long as I can remember I have always been a kitchen girl - its my happy place LOL! so after gaining my Dip in Professional Chef practice at the end of 2017 and a bit of a change in the plans I began “Eden Southern Kitchen”.

Council verification and registration saw me working out of the kitchen at Winton Presbyterian Church but this year I re-sighted to home which on every level fully captures my ethos when it comes to producing high quality baking product, from my home to yours all made with loads of love, care and attention to detail.

Please don't hesitate to message me to request a baking price list and to place an order etc and be assured that the pride I take in every baking batch created has come from a business that goes above and beyond in actioning all MPI requirements within my scope of operation.
