You’ve seen it everywhere and, back in the day I even used it myself— those fluffy, feathery plumes in wedding bouquets and backdrops. But did you know that pampas grass is a pest plant in New Zealand?
I now choose to work with Miscanthus, a beautiful, NZ-grown alternative that gives you all the texture, movement and romance — without harming our native ecosystems. Miscanthus is one of my favourite ways to bring a coastal breeze into your bouquet. Locally grown and naturally elegant, it is soft and airy and won't overpower your arrangements. Perfect for peninsular weddings with a wild, romantic feel.

Love making these floral candelabras. This one is very rustic and a little whimsical but they work equally well with more elegant flowers and settings. The flowers and foliage have a water source so the will stay fresh beautiful all day.💐

What a beautiful day it was, celebrating the union of Tyla from the Cook Islands and Andrew from Scotland. The ceremony was filled with love, laughter, and stunning colours. The vibrant flowers were inspired by the Cook Islands included leis for the bride and groom which added a touch of tropical magic to the already unforgettable atmosphere. Wishing the happy couple a lifetime of happiness, love, and adventure together!
