Some lush tunes coming our way in July…

Following the critically acclaimed release of ‘Asphodels’ in 2025, The Veils quickly return with a bold and invigorated new album titled ‘Fragile World’, out June 19 on V2 Records. To celebrate, The Veils alongside Banished Music announced a 10-date New Zealand tour including 6 band shows and 4 solo performances, including an intimate solo in the Concert Chamber at Whanganui War Memorial Centre.

“It feels right to start our Fragile World tour back home in dear Aotearoa. These are some of our favorite towns to play in on earth and we can’t think of a better way to dust off this moth-bitten black suit and hat and get the show on the road. Come along, be merry, and as always come up and say hi” says Finn Andrews.

Arriving just over a year after their last release, ‘Fragile World’ marks a striking shift in tone and energy for the band. Recorded live to tape in New Zealand by Paddy Hill, with production by Tom Healy (Tiny Ruins, The Chills, Folk Bitch Trio), ‘Fragile World’, captures The Veils in an urgent and instinctive mode.

With its immediacy, intensity, and emotional clarity, ‘Fragile World’ stands as one of The Veils’ most compelling releases to date. Tickets are on sale today:

We are proud to be supporting Glowing Up & Showing Up for Rare Disorders New Zealand.
Look out for a glowing War Memorial Centre! 🧡

“Did you know, 300,000 New Zealanders live with one or more of the over 7,000 known rare disorders? It can feel lonely and isolating living with a disorder not many people understand. That is why tonight we're glowing up and showing up for Kiwis living with rare disorders, to show them that they are valued, and we care”.

We are looking forward to this event in our centre. All the Ladies get ready!
