This is something I’ve been working on behind the scenes for a while now, and I’m excited (and a little nervous 😅) to finally put it out there.

🔥 WE’RE BACK — BUT DIFFERENT… 🔥

It’s been a minute since I last posted on here… but behind the scenes, Kai 4 Taniwha has been growing, learning, and finding its deeper purpose.

This kaupapa has always been more than just kai.
It’s about our people.
Our stories.
Our whenua.
Our ways of doing things.

And now… I’m taking it in a new direction.

🌿 Kai 4 Taniwha is stepping into WĀNANGA.

Not just feeding the puku —
but feeding the mind, the wairua, and the connection back to our taiao.

We’ll be sharing:
🔥 Māori-inspired cooking (smoked meats, boil-ups, fry bread & more)
🌿 Using rongoā and native ingredients from the ngahere
🥩 Hunting, gathering, and preparing kai
🧠 Real knowledge — simple, practical, and for everyone

This next chapter is about passing on knowledge, bringing whānau together, and showing how easy it is to create beautiful kai from what we already have around us.

I’ve got a WĀNANGA coming up soon, and I’m honestly excited (and a little bit nervous 😅) to share this space with you all.
