Many of our graduates have gone on to have luminous careers in dance, thanks to world-class training and opportunities all available when you choose to study full-time at NZSD.

Registrations to audition are open through to 28 August.

Auditions will be held in New Zealand, Australia and online.

🇨🇺 Afro-Cuban Movement Workshop 🇨🇺

We're honoured to welcome Rafael from CUBANFUSION - Wellington's Cuban Salsa Specialists to Estúdio de Samba Wellington for a special 2-hour Afro-Cuban Movement Workshop.

This introductory workshop will explore the foundations of Afro-Cuban movement, rhythm, musicality, body control, and the rich cultural history behind this beautiful dance tradition. We'll finish by exploring the connection between Afro-Cuban and Afro-Brasilian movement.
