We are beyond excited to announce the opening of The Duke Bar & Restaurant here at Aston Norwood 👩‍🍳🍷 Perhaps now the most elevated dining in the Hutt Valley, this is the wonderful work of John & Theo (who have shifted base from Brac & Bow / The Royal in Featherston) - they had under 2 months to design, renovate, and create what we experienced tonight as not just a beautiful setting, but incredible food and drinks too 🍛🍹 Here are some photos from tonight, take a scroll through, exicite your taste buds, and then book in your visit to experience this yourself! 🥰 Blossom Valley starts this weekend (hence why the fast work to get the place open and ready!!). The blossoms are starting to open and we are excited for a wild month ahead! 🌸 The Duke will be serving High Teas from 12-3pm, and then bar/restaurant service from 3pm onwards 🍺 Come and be one of the first to experience this huge point in history for Aston Norwood - we can't wait to welcome you in ❤️

We’re looking for fun individuals that can work in fast paced environments and can bring some laughs and smiles to everyone they're around!!

We’re looking for baristas, prep chefs and bakers, as well some front of house superstars!!
There is a wide range of work available, from helping to prep our kitchen for the day, to making ice creams and coffee at The Stables Eatery.

Aston Norwood has always been a place built on family, and with the arrival of The Duke Bar & Restaurant , we’re delighted to welcome another member into the Aston Norwood family.

But that’s not the only exciting change taking place.

Behind the scenes, we’ve been working hard to lovingly revamp and renovate our beautiful café, and we’re thrilled to be entering a new chapter, with a fresh new look, a new face, and a new name.

We’re delighted to announce that the newly refreshed café at Aston Norwood Gardens will now be known as Three Trees Cafe .

The name pays homage to the history of Aston Norwood Gardens and the three original trees that still stand proudly on the property today, a reminder of the roots and stories that make this place so special.

This new chapter will also see café operations being managed by Sam and Anna, son and daughter-in-law-to-be of Aston Norwood’s original owners, Mark and Fiona Rammell.

Family has always been at the heart of Aston Norwood, and we couldn’t be more excited to see that story continue with Three Trees Café.

As we look forward to the new future at Aston Norwood with the renovations taking place, we thought we would take the time to look to the past, back in 1995 when an old dairy farm was being transformed into Kaitoke Country Gardens 🌳

Back then everything was new…. except Three Trees that remain on the property to this day 🌳🪾🌲

The team is working hard at renovating & redesigning the Gatsby Room (to become The Duke Bar & Restaurant!), as well as the cafe, and the chalet accommodations - we can't wait to unveil the new look after Sep 1 - in time for Blossom Valley! 🌸 P.S how cool is that new green paint?! Sophisticated! 😎
